JG diff - Ludus
Greetings! We are JG diff, a group of three computer sciences students working on the development of our one semester long proyect: Ludus.
Ludus originates from our shared love for MOBA games, like League of Legends or Heroes of the Storm, from which we take most of our inspiration. Ludus is a round-based MOBA with Roguelike elements.
Each round consists of a fight between teams of two players, where the last one remaining will be the victor! Between rounds, each player will be given the choice of a random upgrade, called Blessings, boosting their character's fighting capabilities in hopes to turn the tide of the battle. When a team wins a certain number of rounds, they'll be declared as champions of the Ludus arena and winners of the match.

But what are these Blessings? They are upgrades to your character, going from passive effects to new active abilities. These may go from simple yet useful effects, like greatly reducing the cooldown of a basic ability, to insane active abilities, like a huge explosion that one-shots everyone it hits.
Current state of development
Ludus is currently in early stages of development, having only a basic movement system.
But hopefully, we'll soon be able to show you more progress about our game. Stay tuned! :)
